Subscriptions to the Journal of the
Society for Information Display and the SID Symposium Digest of Technical
Papers are available to both individuals and organizations.
A subscription is required to access the following features:
Viewing hyperlinked reference sections in abstracts
Viewing/downloading/printing full-text articles in
PDF and Gzipped PostScript formats.
NOTE: Searching, Tables of Contents and abstracts (without references) are freely available to non-subscribers. PDF versions
of the articles may be purchased by non-subscribers by clicking on a PDF link in any abstract or Table of Contents and following the order instructions.
Accessing features that require a subscription, work in the following way:
Individual member subscribers are prompted for a username
and password when they attempt to access a resource or feature that requires
a subscription.
Corporate member subscribers (users at a subscribing
institution) will see no difference since they will be authenticated by IP address(es)
provided by the subscribing institution (no login screen will appear
when accessing a resource or feature that requires a subscription)

To access the Journal of the Society for Information Display, or the SID Symposium Digest of Technical Papers, please follow the
instructions below appropriate to your subscriber
type:
INDIVIDUALS
You must be a paid up current member to qualify for online access.
SID Membership applications and prices are avalable at https://www.sid.org/members/membership.html.
Questions about your membership status can be directed to office@sid.org.
Once you've paid for your membership, you will
receive an e-mail with instructions about registering for access to the Journal of the Society for Information Display, and the SID Symposium Digest of Technical Papers online.
The email will provide a unique passcode that you will need to register. The registration process consists of a few simple steps:
Go to the registration web site address specified in the e-mail.
Enter your membership ID or account number and your e-mail address.
Enter the unique passcode from the e-mail.
Select a username and password.
Read and agree to the terms and conditions of the SID Online User License (you will receive a confirmation e-mail from Scitation).
If you have received your registration email and it was lost or accidently deleted, please fill out the form below
and we will send you your registration instructions again:

SID members will receive an automatic email with registration instructions soon. If you are a current SID member and you do not receive the registration email, you may need to update your email address.

CORPORATE
Institutional administrators who manage online subscriptions must make sure your institution has a paid subscription to the Journal of the SID for journal access in 2004. If you would like to purchase a subscription, you will need to submit two forms. The first form is the Subscriptions order form.
The second form is an Institutional Single Site User License* in PDF format which should be signed and returned as soon as possible. This license includes a section pertaining to the IP addresses that you wish to authorize. For help with your IP addresses, please see your institution's System Administrator. Your email address is needed in order to receive notification of successful setup of your online access, so please print your e-mail address clearly on the form.

Once you've paid for your membership and returned a signed user agreement with verifiable IP address information, you will receive an e-mail confirmation that IP access has been established. If you already subscribe to other Scitation journals, you will be notified that the new subscription has been added to your current account.
